I don't like scary movies at all. But my boyfriend begs me to watch one with him. Why??

the reason is obvious ! you will get scared and hug him tight for comfort - maybe bury your face in his armpit or stomach - what guy wouldnt want that on a date ! Helloo !!!

Let me tell it to you like this...
Why does a woman ask a man to go shopping with her, even though she may know he does not like it. Its because she wants him there so she can say "how do I look in this". And (if he is smart) he will say something like, baby you look perfect in anything, BUT in that... is beyond words.
When a man asks to watch a scary movie it has the same effect. We get to watch as you close your eyes or jump into our arms giving us the hunter/protector feeling.
Why you ask, nothing more than making us feel important. So if you have feelings for your BF/Husband or whatever the next time he asks you to watch a scary movie ask your self isn't it worth making him feel good?
BTW if you have too... even if its not scary... play it out a little!! And maybe next time you ask him to go shopping, he may say yes.

They have actually done tests, and determined that people are more "arosed" after watching a scary movie. That may be it. Or he just likes scary movies, and wants to watch one with you.

Because he hopes you'll be scared, and then cuddle with him. Or maybe he likes scary movies and he doesn't have any money so he wants you to pay for him.
Or maybe he'll get scared and he wants you to be with him.

It's something you wouldn't understand bout' us men. But when we are with yous and that movie is on, in the dark ,ALONE. And that scary scene comes on you yelp and grab our arm, come closer, bury your head in our arms-That feeling is something we like, its like as others said, "You're Protector", "Your night in shining armor" its a good feeling :)

i would know because im a guy..number 1 because they want to act brave in front of the girl number 2 because when the girl gets scared she would hold on to the guy so the guy would be all happy and hold back..i think thats all..

Think about it. You probably have a tendency to jump and get scared and grab on to him or keep real close to him. It makes him feel "manly" that he is protecting you.
