Seriously, why do you drink. Cause its fun, sure. Partying. Make it so that one gal looks good in the corner of the bar, so you can get some. you get the idea.

I don't. For medical reasons. It's has an extremely adverse effect on my inner organs.
My father, on the other hand is an alcoholic. He is very slight, but puts away more every day than I've seen most drink.
For him, it's a sort of escapism from reality. Now he's stuck in limbo and he doesn't want to come out.
I wont stop him either. He says he enjoys it so if it kills him, at least he will die doing what he wants to do, rather than suffer by following the advice of all the liberal do gooders.

I drink cos I like the taste.
I like to get wasted every once in a while.
Its a good excuse to say u r drunk if youve done something u regret. hehe ;-)
Its a good excuse to dance like a maniac.
And of course, its an excuse to get the pizza or chinese on the way home when u get munchies & not feel guilty about it :-)

I quite like the taste, and the nice buzz you get off a couple of drinks. However, I NEVER get drunk. Far too much of a control freak

To drink is to escape from reality and by god I hate reality, also amuses me when my mates get tanked up and are suffering in the morning with huge hangovers as i'm one of the lucky ones and don't suffer.

As a Scotsman, I drink to find oblivion.
It's not meant to be FUN by the way. We drink so we can have all those old resentments going round and round in our head. Then start to swear at the TV.
Alcohol isn't fun, the sooner you realise it the better.

because you have to drink to live everyone needs fluids, I am not an alcoholic they go to meetings, the doctor said I should drink less but I can't find it in a pub anywhere

I enjoy the taste, the feeling after the first few when you finish work, put the dinner on when you get home, then suddenly realise you've gotta be up and out again in four hours . . . fk . . . see ya
