Dragonflies do not generally chew or sting human beings (in spite of the undeniable fact that they're going to chew so as to flee, as an occasion, if grasped by the tummy); in reality, they're valued as a predator that helps administration the populations of risky bugs, which incorporate mosquitoes.

I don't think so. once when I was younger, I rescued a dragonfly out of a spider's web. it raised it's abdomen in the air, and left it there, rather like a scorpion. then, it bit me. nothing happened, no swellling, no redness, but i was so scared I flung it off my finger and probably killed it anyway. so no, dragonflies do not sting.

they definitely do not sting, it's a myth that they do
... and alternatively I've had numerous dragonflies land on me and have caught them and I've never ever had one bite! I guess they could, but it must be extremely rare.

NO! They do not sting.
However, why did the butterfly flatter by. . .?
Because the dragonfly drank the flagon dry!
