Go to your local health food store and get the natural progesterone cream. It is made from yams. That took my hotflashes right away and its all natural!

Its worth a try, good luck

Study Maca, Progesterone Cream and the cycle of hormones in the body during menstruation, after and after hysterectomy. The reason is that Estrogen goes up after a period stops and down as Progesterone goes up. Now for her everything her body was use to has suddenly come to a screeching alt. There may be a formula that she has to use with both natural hormone replacements and try to trick her body into believing it still is having a 28 day cycle. Check out a book "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause." This has helpful information for those having had a hysterectomy. Also call some Compound Pharmacist and see if they can mix a formula personally for her. She might want to read one of Susan Summer's Books. I can't remember which one but it came out maybe last year. She said it helped a lot and I think it was on like 20/20 or 60 minutes. I would check out curezone.com and click on menopause for further study. So nice that you are supporting her. What a great guy!!!

Hello,
Excessive sweating is a clinical condition where parts of the body are sweating beyond what the body needs.
It is commonly an inherited condition and can affect those who suffer from it on a social, functional, and emotional level.
Heavy sweating (also known as hyperhidrosis) is a very real and embarrassing problem, but there are some effective ways to treat it.
Before you hide under bulky sweaters or move to a chillier climate, you can try these proven techniques for combating excessive sweating: http://hyperhidrosis.toptips.org

She is suffering from surgical menopause- you can try soy products, cut sugar intake way back- check into a natural hormone replacement, I emphasize NATURAL. Go to your local health food store & ask about natural progesterone or a wild yam cream. To help with night sweats I found keeping a cold pak (for injuries) in the freezer- when I woke up hot- I would grab the cold back- wrap in a thin towel and place on the back of the neck.. It helps to lower the body temp so you can get back to sleep sooner. Good Luck !!

I heard that drinking soy milk helps alot. At night, (winter weather) dress in layers and just peel them off as needed. There are natural remedies, but make sure you do a lot of reading up on them. I'm not at that point yet, but plan on trying it when I need to. Tell your wife to hang in there and good for you for being a good hubby.

Have her go to the nearest Health Food Store and explain the problem to the people in there. They will suggest supplements that will help with the problem.

Or she could purchase Estroven from the drug store. She should take it as the package states and she will have to be patient, it does take a few days to a few weeks to kick in, but once it does, she will notice a big difference.

You are a wonderful husband to want to help her. I'm sure though that you have ulterior motives, like your wife feels like a furnace laying next to you in bed and then she wakes up wringing wet and has to change her pjs.? ;-) I did the same thing and my poor husband had to put up with a lot.

She may have an infection. Have her see her doctor. I wish it was you who was having the symptoms (not that I wish it were you), because I had a male infection with the same symptoms.

Perhaps increasing the soy products in her diet will help.
