Um, well I live in Canada and it's sort of hard to not be offended by your question. Not everyone on English Yahoo Answers is American (you obviously meant the USA with the "we").
I personally like the US, and most Americans are nice. I don't understand why some Americans have to hate Canada so much. It's a different country, and yes many laws are different thatn the American laws, but maybe you should respect that ... it's not your country.

2. it doesn't have the death penalty
3. it has really good medicare programs
4. multiculturism
5. don't start wars,but, are peacekeepers.
Those are just 5 reasons why I love being a Canadian! Look up Vimy Ridge and the Blue Puttees if you want to see how many Canadians gave their lives in a war!!!! To agree with Sasha, during 911, over 7000 people were stranded in Canadian provinces. They were welcomed into peoples homes, why not ask them what they think of Canada?

wtf is wrong with canada? i LIVE in canada. our health care is good, we dont have death penalty(but for some cases we ******* should) its not cold all the time where i live... actually winte came like 2 weeks ago lmfao. ive never said about" aboot' and i dont personaly know any canadian who has, i dont say eh... ...dont sterotype canada. at least we dont go to war and have a $hitty president...lmfao

well I am Canadian..and I am not really sure what your point is.........obviously it must be very important...to need 5 reasons....seems to me when flights go down in waters we tend to pull out All the stops and do everything possible to help...for FREE.........we just are silly like that.......

I used to live there and england and National health care is NOT something we want, despite the glorious spin that gets put on it. the eget etaxed to death to pay for it, and the care sucks.
And we don't want a crappy military either.
We don't want their open door policy with immigration.
We don't want one of our states wanting to become it's own country.
We don't want half of our land frozen.
And here's a kicker. I am a canadian happily living in the US.
