Absolutely no reason for 3 different players.
Go to http://www.free-codecs.com and download the quicktime alternative and the real player alternative if you want them.
The alternatives, let you play quicktime and real video inside of your windows media player so you only need the one.

Well I surf the web a lot. I started with just Windows, then some sites needed one of the three, so I just kept all three. Windows is the best, but there are places where QuickTime or RealPlayer is what they use. It wouldn't hurt keeping all three, it's not a lot of memory. It's not even a GB I Think.

All three are needed for different formats of videos. if like you say you only use windows media player then go ahead and deleted the other two. But if you have an Ipod or u use Itunes you will be required to install quicktime otherwise it won't work. eitherway if you decide to uninstall the other two and later you need them you can install them again.

RealPlayer plays Media with the .RM extension. Quicktime plays media with .MOV
Windows media player plays .WMV .WMA you should keep all of them, but if you had to, you can delete Realplayer and Quick time saftly. Don't remove windows media player, its native to XP.

I would at least keep Quicktime. It plays Quicktime movies better than either of the other two (and even does high-def).
