Did anyone see the Bill O' Riley show? They interviewed the Hollywood war protesters, and did they look STUPID!

They each had about 2 programmed answers that theyy used for EVERYTHING! If they asked them about anything slightly off-topic, like the war in Iran, they just stared blankly and couldn't think of a programmed answer.

They even asked if Jane Fonda would appear on the O' Riley factor, and she said "O' Riley doesn't exist"

I LOVE when they make them look stupid, don't you?

Yes! Here's another instance of protesters being stupid:

Last week, over 100,000 anti-war protesters descended on Washington. Everything from actors and anarchists to the members of Congress marched alongside them, including: Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI) and Reps. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), Maxine Waters (D-CA), Jerry Nadler (D-NY), and House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers (D-MI). Also addressing the crowd from his prison cell was convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal. One reason the officers held back from confronting one batch of protesters was because the anarchists threatened the officers with bottles of human urine. Additional damage done to both city and personal property includes a news truck pelted with rocks and spray-painted street signs. Although the demonstrators claimed they supported the troops but not the war, The New York Times reported that some of the protesters actually spat at war veterans as they marched by. Peaceful civil disobedience has an honorable history in the United States, yet many of those who protested last weekend were neither civil nor peaceful. Speaker Pelosi must respond to these actions, even though her party had connections to this shameful march. For a video report from the Capitol steps, log on to the www.frc.org homepage.

By the way, I like your nickname.

Yeah I didn't see it, but i know they're comparing the War on Terror to Vietnam. That's rediculous. Approximately 58,000 people died in Vietnam and only a little over 3,000 have died in the War on Terror and there have been well over 150,000 deployed. Thats what less then 2% of the total soldiers deployed. Thats not good but you have to remember its war. I have read that in addition to the 3,000 about 800 have been seriously injured (seriously injured=loss of limb or worse). So that brings it up to 2.5% of the deployed soldiers killed or seriously injurred. Any killed soldiers are bad but sacrifices are neccessary.

No, but I saw the disabled veterans at the dedication of the rehab center San Antonio. By the way, where was Bush and Cheney? It must be to hard for them to bear to look at all these disabled vets.

SAN ANTONIO — Of the roughly 20,000 soldiers injured since the start of the Iraq war, more than 500 have lost a limb — many of them in roadside bombings.

On Monday, a $50 million high-tech rehabilitation center opened that is designed to serve the growing number of soldiers who return from war as amputees or with severe burns.
The privately funded Center for the Intrepid includes a rock-climbing wall, a wave pool and a virtual reality computer system. About 3,200 people attended a dedication ceremony, including Gen. Peter Pace, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; and 2008 presidential hopefuls Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and John McCain of Arizona. ~desertnews.com

...don't think they looked 'stupid' at all. And I don't watch O'Reilly as a rule. Heard about him, but saw more of them on C-Span. Quite a group. Besides they have a right to march or protest. That's what the United States is all about. Love them or hate them, it was their right. SOMEBODY certainly needs to protest the conditions of all of those survivors coming back home minus legs, arms, fingers, ears, and other appendages, much less those who come back nearly burned all over thieir bodies. Not to mention those - who will carry the images of the violence of death and destruction for the rest of their natural born lives----------not to mention those who came home in caskets.
Thanks to George Bush.
