I have his autograph on a basketball program and a photo of him signing to prove it's him. How much will this autograph be worth in the future?

30 years from now, no one will know who David Robinson is.

You have no clue who Walt Bellamy is, do you? And he's a Hall of Famer. But he retired 32 years ago.

Same thing with Robinson in 30 years.

You want proof people are forgetting?... a previous answer just said it will depend on when Robinson retires... but Robinson already retired, 4 years ago.

Sell it now, while there's still people who remember who Robinson was.

If I could predict the future I'd move to Las Vegas. Actually, I find the whole autograph industry to be a big mystery. Not sure why people are fascinated with owning the scribble of some other person, especially a modern sports figure. The market is over saturated with autographed this and autographed that. The value of anything is based on how scarce it is. Somehow I don't think Mr. Ryan's signature is all that hard to come by. All that being said, the best answer for your question: It'll be worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. :-)

A photo of him signing something is not proof of authenticity, so its worthless, but throw it in with that Nolan Ryan autograph and put it up on Ebay... There's a sucker born every minute and he may be looking for this autograph.

My guess is, it will peak within the next 10 years, depending on when he retires. They usually rise some after the person passes away. I don't expect that for Robinson for quite some time.
My opinion is based on what I have seen in the market the past 20 years that I have collected.

It depends who your selling it to....like if u sell it to an old guy who votes for Robinson's team then maybe a lot but if its to a kid then...umm...a little..(i guess)
