As for me : "Titanic" .. I would have made Rose pregnant, so that she had a piece of Jack left...into her child's eyes, because she had no photos of him or anything, instead of that necklace that she flung into the ocean....

So, what about you???

Have a nice day too! Great question.

For me, it was Catch and Release. I wanted everyone to live together in the house, including the lady with the kid. NOT everyone move away. Always wanted a house where I could have all the family live together under one roof. We all take vacations together and go to the movies together.

"Fatal Attraction." The ending that was released was NOT the original, as shown to test audiences. The director changed it after the audience felt a "happier" ending was preferable to Glenn Close living.

The classic film "The Last Laugh," with Emil Jannings, also has a tacked-on ending that is all wrong. The film originally was supposed to end with the long shot of Jannings all alone in the bathroom at the department store. But someone decided that an "upbeat" ending was better, so he suddenly wins the lottery!

Gone with the Wind.
This is an old Classic, but I have never liked the ending..
I would change the ending and make it that Rhett does not leave Scarlett. I would make it that they finally start to live happily ever after..The ending never made any sense to me. Here is this man who has loved this woman for ages, and he has always been there for her for years but she has always loved someone else. Then finally at the end when she comes around to realizing how much she does loves him, he leaves her and walks away.. He always knew she was head-over-heals in love with this other man, and he stayed and then at the end when she wakes up and realizes that she does love him, he leaves. Crazy.. never understood that.. I woul have had them remain together.. as the movie's story of the telling of the burning of Atlantic City and the rebuilding, it would have been nice to see them rebuild their lives too.

I always thought the same thing about Titanic as well!

The only thing I can think of is at the end of Home Alone has always bothered me.Couldn't the family have been more excited to see Kevin and ask him more questions instead of talking to him for a minute then walking away from him? Its just always bugged me!

The question is interesting and all the answers I read are really interesting too. I am grateful to be able to finally express here my frustration for the ending of Troy. I always wanted Hector to prevail on Achilles and the Trojans to win over the Greeks.
But maybe I am asking too much and I also want to change history.

I'd have to agree that "Signs" needed a better ending. I was also disappointed by the ending of "Sixth Sense."

But really, the ending I'd have changed would be "X-Files" (tv show, not movie). I'd have gone with a "Beautiful Mind" meets "Brazil" kind of thing where we discover that Mulder was actually a paranoid schizophrenic in a mental institution and Scully was his doctor.

for me it would be the ending to blood in blood out not so much take away the original ending but more tie up a loose end it would be that Popeye cervedra gets found out for narcing on the armored car roberry and either gets killed on the streets by the onda soldiers or sent back to Q and personally done by Miklo

Great Question

I would LOVE to change the ending of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" so that Li didn't die and Yu and he would be together. Then that way, Jen wouldn't have to kill herself because she was partly responsible for his death and Lo and she could be together at the end. As much as I love this movie, I hate that nobody winds up happy at the end.

One of the many reasons I loved Waynes World was the variety of endings - I especially liked the Scooby Doo one!

I would change the ending of "Signs". Instead of having the aliens being defeated by a glass of water, I would have something believable happen.
