No because reruns and advertisements seem much better than the reality show crap that is being poured out at us.

It's getting out of control. I'm living in Grand Cayman right now, and the shows that we get are all pirated by "Cayman 27" (The local station). We get shows from all different stations (Fox, ABC, BBC, CNN,CBC....), and when it cuts to commercial we see the first one or two American or Canadian commercials, then it switches back to at least 5 more minutes of ads from Caymanian businesses. And they are all terrible.

Yes! It's terrible! There are too many commercials, especially car commercials. If I hear "zoom zoom zoom" from Mazda one more time, I'm gonna throw my remote at the tv!

absoloutely!
as a result I rarely subject myself to mass media.
tv is a series of commercials interrupted by programs designed to get you to sit there and watch the commercials.
disgusting
and those awards things are like one big long commercial put on by those people about those people to get those people money.
