My favorite Johnny Cash Song.. I loved hurt, I know it was his very last song, but it was so powerful very sad. I guess others would be the man in black another very good tune. Give my love to rose is another good one. Oh god I could list all of his great songs, but I don't think I'd have enough room in this box.
When June Carter Cash died, it nearly killed johnny on the spot, those two were soul mates I think.
I've been a fan of Johnny Cash for a very long time.. I was a fan of him when he was with the Highway Men... Johnny, Kris Krisofferson, Waylon Jennings * Loved him btw* and of course Willie Nelson.. an old hippie still, but loveable.

My husband and I both absolutely LOVE Johnny Cash!! Among our favorite songs are Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, & Folsom Prison Blues. By the way, we think that Joaquin Phoenix did an outstanding job of portraying Johnny Cash in Walk the Line. We could not believe how much he sounded like him. Oh yeah, my husbands number one favorite Johnny Cash song is "A Boy Named Sue".

Dead heat between Sunday Morning Coming Down and Ring of Fire....I always liked Johnny Cash's low gravelly voice and when I saw his "Behind the Music" on VH1 in 1998 and learned his story and of his love with June I was hooked! (Not usually a country fan but enjoyed in the 70s 8 tracks of Patsy Cline, Hank Williams and Jim Reeves from my Dad)
