In this case, a friend of mine got jelaous because today is one of my other friend's birthday, and because of that she envied my friend for recieving more gifts than what she recieved for her birthday. Now what can I do to make her convience that it is not right to act like this, especially when you say it to me behind my other friend's back? All ideas or sugestions are appreciated. Thank You.

you can't convince her that being envious is not right. I'm sure she already knows it's wrong. she's just being silly and immature, and wants to make you feel bad because she's jealous that someone other than her got the attention and gifts this time. it sounds like she needs to grow up and act like the adult that she is. you haven't done anything wrong. she will get over it, and hopefully learn something in the process.
Best Wishes

well nothing that you say is going to change her mind.
She sounds very insecure so maybe you can shame her into shutting her mouth.
You can say, 'wow, you sound so jealous, if xx (the other friend) knew you felt this way she would laugh out loud'.
Then you tell her that since you are talking about this friend behind her back that you by right should be able to do the same thing about her. The thought of you and the girl who got all of the gifts laughing at her should be enough to make her stop saying this crap to you

(you should seriously consider spending less time with her)

Have her read the bible. Envy is one of the 7 deadly sins, maybe that will change her mind

yes you cannot change a persons view or thoughts or nature, you can try to convince them and talk about it with them but if they don't want to change they wont and well there are very few people that want to change..
