Just curious. Someone who has the status of unable to practice law has probably had their Law license suspeneded. What will it take for this person to get disbarred?

There are several ways to get disbarred from practicing law. Some of the most common reasons:
1. Misappropriation of client funds
2. Soliciting employment from a prospective client (this is more commonly known as ambulance chasing)
3. Dishonesty, fraud, deception

Each state has their own set of rules. Most states have adopted the model rules, so they are generally the same in each state.

The attorney would have to have committed a very serious violation of the attorney's canons to be disbarred.
