No means no. Just because you are married and have a piece of paper to prove it does not give someone the right to invade you anytime they please. Why would you call it rape, if he is your husband? I am sure you have said no before. Is there a reason you denied him to the point of him forcing himself on you. Do you love each other? If he has hurt you you need to let him know and tell him you will not tolerate that again. If he continues I suggest you seek help. Be safe and Good Luck.

When you got married, you commited to a relationship that involved a sexual relationship. While it very well may have been a case of unconsented sex, the courts and many states view this as being married as being in a consensual sexual relationship.

It is near impossible to prove in a court of law that your husband raped you, because rape indicates an undesired or unwanted unsolicited encounter - by being married, you agreed to a consentual relationship, so this is very very hard to get through in a court.

Everyone who is saying Yes it is rape doesn't understand the laws of this land. Technically, it was unconsentual, legally, good luck getting him in any trouble.

Yes! Rape is an act of violence . Is your husband abusive? If you say no and he takes it anyway, that is considered rape. Absolutely let him know his behavior is unacceptable, and you will not tolerate it. Get some professional help if he will cooporate, or just hit the road if he is not worth it.

Absolutely... its just harder to look at it that way so i see why youre asking. Makes it more complicated, but yes it is, you have to think about the definition of rape. All you have to do is say no and resist it and im assuming you did that. Im sorry that happened... its up to you what you do from here. It sounds bad but i knew a girl who used to let her boyfriend have sex with her early in the morning when he had to get up and she would basically just sleep.. diff. women are different

If you didnt want it and it is forced upon you and Left you feeling icky and dirty then yes it is rape no matter who does it.
But if you try to press charges some states do not identify it as rape if it is your husband.

yes it can be considered that, but don't wait to file charges and then use it in anger.. just do it.. if you feel that you have been raped then report it.. and don't think, because if you feel that way now and it keeps happening then it will cause you bad feelings..But go file a police report if you feel that way and end your marriage. If thats something you feel that your husband did to you ,your feelings won't ever be the same anyway and you are headed for divorce..
