yeah i forgot it its charging on my laptop right now, so what do i do, i cant change the volueme limit without putting in the password thing.[kinda like thescreen lock]

You just refresh Ipod Nano. So Hold the menu button and play button down for a few seconds and it will refresh.

Unfortunatly, the only way to fix this is by restoring your iPod. To do this, you connect your iPod to the computer, open iTunes, and click on your iPod. Then click restore. This will erase everything on your iPod, so MAKE A BACKUP! After restoring it, the password will be reset.

I've Also Done This.
I had to reset it by using itunes.
but it erases everything you have on there.

you should restore your ipod thru itunes, i don't see there is another option, some advice on restoring, visit http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/
