He was also part of the Rat Pack that included other singer/actors such as Dean Martain and Sammy Davis Jr. Some of his movies include Ship Ahoy (1942)Anchors Aweigh (1945), From Here to Eternity (1953)(Won the best supporting actor award) ,High Society (1956), and the original Ocean's Eleven (1960).
