It's not the success by itself. It's success that has been bought. It's just like the Yankees "the best team money can buy". It's no fun when one team always wins because they have the deepest pockets and they get all of the big-name players. Yes, I know United does not always win these days, but the real footy supporters know what I am talking about. Plus, they have a very large base of supporters who aren't even from Manchester. People just jump on the bandwagon and support them because they are so famous.

I think you are wrong dude. I think the most hated team in England is Chelsea. I only say this because I have met more people who hate Chelsea than United. Infact I have met more Arsenal haters too.. United is one of the best teams in the world, they produce more quality players than any other team in the EPL. So maybe the other guys are right by saying that it is because of their success that they are hated. By the way, it pains me to say this as I am a Liverpool supporter.Peace

Yup, they are the main efficient. Hasn't continually been that way the two, although i do no longer undergo in recommendations particularly this volume of "hatred" whilst it replaced into the Merseyside duo taking the right honours interior the mid to overdue eighty's. for sure a byproduct of the finest League. EDIT: Eddie, if i bypass out and devote the act of homicide, will that assure United win this nighttime? I somewhat have seen the mild and could positioned those spells and potions aside (joking)

I think Chelsea is the most hated team in England and UEFA officials also hate the club. Roman Abrahamovic's quest to purchase titles for Chelsea financially has been partly fulfilled and their loudmouth manager Jose Mourinho whom they call "The Special One" for no reason have not been very successful in bringing glory to Chelsea. They are winning only in England but are failing in Europe.

it's a symptom of success. the same thing happens here in the states. the yankees and patriots, though amazingly talented are generally hated because outside their respective cities no one wants to see a dynasty.
but i agree that my chelsea blues are probably more hated because of roman's quest to buy a title. much as i love the titles it's a tad bittersweet to know how they came about.
remember, man u. was a big spender in the 90's too.

In my case, it's not the success. Man U is a very arrogant club from top to bottom. I don't like arrogance.
