I was on an afternoon off and the announcement came over the ticker on the bottom of the screen. I waited 10 minutes for a news bulletin to confirm it, before I phoned my partner, who was/is a huge Steve Irwin fan, to tell him. I made sure he pulled the car over before I told him. We miss him terribly. We watched 'My Dad - The Crocodile Hunter' the other night and just reminded us of what a great loss it was.

Bindi is just like her Dad &
as long as she stays & lives at the Zoo she will have the same passion as her Dad
because she sure has it now &
once an animal lover always an animal lover
so when she grows up ..........

I think she is well on the way to doing just that... She is remarkably well-spoken for her age, and looks so much like her dear dad.... I wish her & her family well- they have such a wonderful way of helping animals, it should definitely continue!

I hope she will. She loves animals just as much as her father does. She is very polite and mature for her age. A very good role model for kids. I am also very proud of her.

Absolutely. She got her passion from her father and is determined to continue his legacy. I believe that's what she wants too.

Bindi is 8 yrs old, and already being exploited by the media, her mother the australian zoo, etc, look at what happened to other children, who weren't given the chance to be kids, and instead ended up on tv, in the movies etc. they became drug addicts, alcoholics, etc.
She is 8 I believe she should be allowed to be the child she is and live a normal life without, being exploited by everyone.
