If it is just on her face, it is probably a reaction to something. Does she spit up or drool a lot? Perhaps that is irritating her face.
It could be connected to the laundry - did you wash her crib sheets with your regular laundry? It is reccomended to wash the baby's laundry separately, and use a detergent (liek arm and hammer) that is dye-free and perfume-free. Also, do not use softeners or a dryer sheet. Have you switched laundry detergents recently?
When my baby was about that age, I thought she had a rash on her face, but it turned out that it was just baby acne that was really bad in a couple of spots.
Try washing your baby's face with a warm, wet washcloth (a soft baby one!) a couple times a day and pat it dry well. This should help with either a rash or acne.

it could just be from the cold wheather.
or it could also be a viral rash. if it's a viral rash, there is nothing you can do to make it better or to make it go away. it just goes away on it's own. it's not itchy and it doesn't bother the baby at all.
if it's from the cold you could use lotion or petroleum jelly that protects sensitive skin. that's what i put on my daughter if she starts getting a rash on her cheeks.

Are you in a cold climate? Maybe her cheeks could be chapped.Houses are dry in the winter month, there is less humidity so skin can get quite chapped, even not by going outside. Plus babies cheeks get wet when nursing or feeding from their bottles, or drooling.
Your pedia can tell you for sure what it is.Give them a call to be sure it is nothing serious.
Good luck

What does it look like? Is it just red, or are there little white bumps? The bumps are milk spots, and will go away, Is she teething? That would cause rosy cheeks, which might be mistaken for a rash.
Keep an eye on it, and see her doctor in the morning if you think you need to.

Sounds like she has a allergic reaction to something. I would think that maybe she is allergic to something like latex ( from the nipple of a bottle or the nipple of a pacifier) Take her to the doctor and they can figure out what she is allergic to. Could even be that she has the jondis (if her face is kinda yellow)

My son got rashes when he was really small like that. It might be from scratching or allergy. The ped dr prescribed an ointment and it worked great!!!!!

Are people kissing on her a lot? I noticed my kids would break out on their face when peopl kissed them too much. Try keeping their faces as clean as possible and not overdue it with lotion as well.

it could be an allergy from anything. the milk you use, the cloth you use to wipe her face, anything. Have her checked by a pediatician now. much better than guessing...
