Most baby showers tend to be, well, boring... how can I have a baby shower where the guests aren't dying to get out of there?

Play games, and give away cheap prizes. The point is to have fun! On my babyshower, my friend put different baby food in small diapers. It was funny because the diapers looked like they had poop on them. Everybody had to pass around each diaper, sniff it, and guess what flavor it was; then they proceeded to write it on a small piece of paper. At the end, the winner would get a prize (cheap candles or colored pens). Another game is to fill up baby bottles with skittles and have the people guess how many skittles were in each bottle. You can also use M&M's. Another game is to give out long pieces of paper. The mommy to be has to stand in the middle of the room and everybody would have to take a lucky guess at the lenght of the belly. Then the host would grab each strand and measure it against the belly. The closest one to guess would get a surprise. Some mothers-to-be; however, are self-conscious about their bellies so make sure she is ok with this game.

Hope this helps!!!

I think that having fun games, good food, and nice prizes is the way to go. When ever a woman close to us was having a baby shower we would play games. For example, at the beginning of every guests entrance they would receive a clothes pin. Whenever another guest would cross their legs, the person who sees her first would take it away from her. At the end of the baby shower, whoever got the most clothes pin won a prize. Another game we would play is to get a roll of toilet paper and guess how many squares equal to mom-to-be belly. Whoever gets the correct amount wins. We would also get small baby bottles and fill them in with fruit punch. Whoever drank the bottle the fastest won a prize. The objective is to have fun. I can't wait till I get my baby shower.

I've thrown a few babyshowers, and one of the favorite games is:
Have a doll, a phone and a diaperbag and stuff to go in the bag ex, diapers, babyfood, onesies, bibs, teething ring, pacifiers, bottles. Then you scatter all the stuff from the diaper bag. The goal of the game is to hold the doll, hold the phone(like you're on the phone), and pack the diaper bag at the same time. You can't drop the doll of course. The person with the fastest time wins. Everone starts in the same spot, and time stops when the bag is zipped. And then you give a prize to the winner of the game, and the prize for the mom to be is the diaperbag with all of the stuff inside.

first the baby shower has to be lots of fun for mom-to-be and her guests first make it a requirement to pay cover charger just like you would at a club BUT in this case the cover charge for the baby shower will be to bring a pack newborn diapers the mom-to-be will be needed them, there's a book called 100+ baby showers games or "The everything baby shower book"

The last one I went to, the host bought a ton of stuff for the mom to be and baby (Baby shampoo, hemroid cream ect.) and put numbers on stickers on each one. Every guest then got a pen and paper, and tried to guess the cost of each item. The guest who guessed the most correctly (or closest to) got a prize, and the mom to be got all the stuff.

I had a fun game at my baby showers that my ex mother in law came up with.. you take a cloth diaper and shape into a diaper. Blindfold yourself and see if you can get the pins in the right spot. Winner gets a prize (Usually a prize to give to the mother to be)

As a father, the full "adult men being embarassed" element is particularly dumb. basically because of the fact we are male does not propose we don't be attentive to a thank you to alter a diaper!!! an excellent sport is toddler Bingo. Have the folk get clean bingo sheets and have them fill out products they think of would be unwrapped. WIth each and each merchandise opened, they cover the packing containers. at last, while bingo's start up happening, have prizes/delivers to offer out for the 1st 5 or ten.

Keep the silly games to a minimum--like zero! Come up with a couple of games that don't humiliate the guests or the mom-to-be (if we want to know the circumfrance of our belly, we are fully capable of measuring it ourselves). Keep the flow going from one activity to the next. Have a nice snack and some cake, and finish with presents.
