They won't admit anything good that the President has done.

Those that say just the rich received them are clueless. My sister and several other friends (middle class) have all received tax cuts. I'm sick of the liberals twisting everything around. Those tax cuts help and helped a LOT of middle class families but libs do NOT want to acknowledge that. It did NOT only go to the rich. That is such an ignorant argument from a clueless left wing liberal that has nothing better to do than hate the President of the United States.

As soon as there is a zero budget deficit and an elimination of the national debt. Until then, these taxes didn't do squat except put more money into the hands of the wealthiest 1% of Americans who don't need it, nor did they spend it on the economy. BTW, those tax cuts and the benefits they MAY have brought on were gone alone time ago.

The debate between supply-side and Keyneisan economics will rage forever. The simple fact is, is that nobody knows how the hell the economy works, what specific actions effect it, or how to make it better. It's just too complex of an organism for anyone to make concrete observations like "the tax cuts worked" or "the New Deal ended the Great Depression."

Both systems have their plusses and minuses, all I know is that Keynesian economics but much needed money in the hands of the masses. Supply-side very definitely benefits the rich (everybody else just has to hope something "trickles down" to them)

LIBERALS ARE NOT THE ONLY GROUP IGNORANT OF THE BENEFITS OF TAX CUTS. THE NAME CALLING IS SO OLD WE ARE ALL ADULTS BUT UNFORTUNATELY WHEN COMES TO US PROTECTING OUR INDIVIDUAL FRAGILE EGOS IT OUR MENTALITIES ARE ON PAR WITH A 9 YEAR OLD. THERE IS ROOM IN THIS WORLD FOR ALL OF US LIBERALS AND CONSERVATIVES ALIKE -- WE BOTH NEED TO SHOW EACH OTHER A LOT MORE RESPECT. SOME THINGS ARE BASE IN UNDENIABLE FACT-- ECONOMICS IS ONE THOSE --- EMOTION DOESN'T GET DOWN THE ROAD.

Never. The tax cuts have boosted the economy and have given back to us the people, and it is better than spending and or raising taxes for "handout" social programs.

why is it that Republicans think that taxes are the only things in the world that have an effect on the economy?

in fact... it's many issues, which tax cuts are one... and so is government spending (especially for wars)... and many other issues

but it's very hard to directly link the cuts to the growth, and impossible to say that they are the sole reason for the growth...

the best you can do is say that they probably helped some... to what degree... it's up to discussion...

They did work for the wealthy. I admit it. (I'm not a lib). The only "tax cuts" were $77 billion "capital gains" tax cuts.

Why not target 35K to 70k income-tax cuts (which would not affect me)? They spend money like water and would boost everyone's economy in the process including mine. They buy the latest gadgets, movie tickets, groceries and such in masses across the US. They need a break far more than I do.

I don't do an edit or answer questions because I am always right. Perfection cannot ever be rushed. Oh - liberals are not smart enough to realize anything and so are inherently unable to admit.

Nowhere in the article does it say it's because of tax cuts.
