Is the class AP Pschology, offered in highschool, immensly difficult? What would be the typical wokload and classs structure? In my school AP Pychology has no prerequisits so anyone can take it, however i head its hard. How hard is the AP exam itself? Are their sites to tell me its format and help me prepare for it?

I'm currently taking Psychology, and I'm a senior. The class isn't "AP", but it is taught at AP level, because we have the option to take the exam or not. The class itself may depend on the teacher. My teacher is fun and humorous and makes the work entertaining and interesting. The beginning of Psychology wil lseem a little boring, because you will go through the basic structures on how it began. Soon you will learn about dreams, biology, hypnosis, discussions, and a bunch of cool other stuff on how our mind works. I love the course.. I have other AP classes, and have tooken an AP exam before. The AP exam will consists of a timed multiple choice segment, and around three essays for you to answer. It's a great idea to take it due to the fact most majors will require you to take Psychology 101 in college, so why not be a step ahead and try gettign college credit for it in high school. You may want to look at www.collegeboard.com for info on AP classes. It may be a little more work and you will have to push your self, but it is a great way to get prepared for college, and from my experiences I highly recommend it if your up for a challenge. Make sure you are able to get out of the course if it doesn't fit you as well before taking it. Good Luck!
