In order for me to have full brain function the next day I HAVE to get my beauty sleep-9 hours is perfect, but I can get by on 7.

not over rated at all. most of us need 6-9 hours to be able to function properly - tho some can still function with 3-5 hours. To me, sleep is as tho I had put my batteries on the charger and then, here I go again ........

I think sleep is stupid and a complete waste of time. People do not need a specific number of hours- when you are tired you sleep, when you are not, you wake up.
