No. You can't really gauge the baby's size based on movements alone. Your doctor will generally measure your uterus at each appointment, and if you measure small will order an ultrasound. If this has not happened, then you are right on track. Some babies never do give really strong kicks. My first one was a kicker, my second was a roller (just rolled around, never really 'kicked'), and my third one was a mellow baby who didn't move much at all.
As long as you are eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight, you are doing what you are supposed to. Believe me, if your baby starts to fall behind in growth, your doctor will notice and order more tests.

no it does NOT always mean you are having a small baby your doctor should have told you are ready if he thought you was. I felt the same at 28 weeks and here I am on my 35 weeks and I went to the doctor today and they said the baby weighted 6 pounds 2 oz. so every person is different on there movements because with my other kids I felt KICKS before I had with this one.

Talk to your doc. how aften are the kicks? start counting them, like how many per hour, if they seem low to your doc, he might send you for a non-stress test to check on the baby. I was going through the same thing, and my baby ended up being born a month early bc my placenta had aged and he was not etting enough nutrients, and mine was born 4lbs 5 oz. tiny little guy. good luck and call your doc.

Wait about 2 maybe 3 more weeks. You'll be feeling some major kicks. Good Luck! :)

Best thing you can do is relax! Stress causes low birth weights. Also, eat! Honestly I probably ate too much, but it helped I think. My baby was 8 weeks early, but she did well.

Have you had a ultrasound? I think your baby will be bigger then you think...every woman is different but sometimes those flutters are kicks.

Eat good healthy food! At 28 wks, all babies are small, though... your baby has a ton of time to grow!
