TV shows don't have morals anymore. Everyone has become desensitized and gradually entertainment has become filled with sex, drugs, and violence. I think people would rather have that kind of entertainment today then anything that talks about God. And as long as things are making money, producers could care less what is on the TV. It's shocking sometimes, but it's still entertaining. As long as you don't let their morals become your morals you should be fine, though.

Wow!!! The answers you have received thus far show quite clearly that people do NOT fear God. I believe that we do worship and serve a loving and forgiving God, however, He does judge if you are without the grace of Jesus Christ, and He is to be feared!!! As for the TV programming, it's simply a reflection of today's society, I thank God for His long suffering, but I keep looking to the skies.....Come quickly Lord Jesus!!!!

I don't remember "Thou shalt not watch murder, adultery, covetousness and people bearing false witness on television" being in the Ten Commandments. God is not going to strike you down because you watch 'The Sopranos'. Being a good person who tries to live a good life does not determine the shows you watch or the books you read.
You may not like this answer, and judging by the number of thumbs down, you won't, but any one religion's ideas on morality should not dictate what is seen or heard in a free, non-discriminating(suposedly) society. If you don't like it, turn it off.

first off, not everyone is religious.
second off, god isnt there to be feared. youre supposed to have an intimate relationship with him and love him, not believe in him for fear of the worst.
people have done way worse stuff in the NAME of god anyways. Showing a tit on TV is nothing compared to torturing and killing hundreds of thousands of people in the crusades and inquisition.

They show what ppl will watch. ppl do not think that there is no accountablilty for what they watch. But they are sadly mistaken. But is is not acceptable in Gods eyes. We are accountable for everything we do no matter how little is seems. If the bible says it is wrong to do then is goes the same as for watching it is wrong too.
