and the democratic agenda is for this separation vs what some people refer to as the religions right wing conservatives.....
then why does the vast majority of black voters vote democrat but then support the Reverend's Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton when they speak on politics????
And further why do dems in general not say anything about people like Clinton and Kerry when they speak in front of religious congregations ( for instance Clintons Riverside Church speech when he was running )???

yes john I did realize it wasnt in the constitution. Its in the federalis papers.
And no NVR I dont hate blacks or dems. I asked a question, one that you promptly avoided answering but instead made accusations.. I was making a point that too many people avoid the truth and instead listen to rhetoric.. which you so cleary supported my point with your 'answer'

I think you know the answer. I'ts because most voters are ignorant boobs who don't think deeper than a puddle of water. All thyey see is a "D' or an "R" next to the person's name, and whatever that person says then is right.
Good to see someone out there thinking though.
BTW, do you realize that separation of church and state is also nowhere in the US Constitution? Most voters are too ignorant to know that too. It is worded in the Declaration of Independence, which is not law. The only reason this phrase is considered to be 'law' is becuase the courts have ruled it to be so, and it now has plenty of legal precedent.

Separation of Church and State was originally put in the constitution to keep the CHurch out of Governemnt and Government out of the church. Today there are people who have far too much time on their hands and nothing to do but whine gripe and complain because their is ChirstmasTree in a park without other secular ornaments around it or vice versa. There are even idiots out there who want to take the words "Under God" out of the pledge of allegiance arguing that it falls under separation of church and state. The founders idea for this was not to keep God out of politics just merely differing religeous beleifs. Though now that I think of it as long as the Vile Disgusting Biased and Unfair Family Court System is in operation perhaps we should strike out the words "With Liberty and Justice for all!"

It's clear you don't like Democrats or blacks. But it doesn't change the fact that your time is at an end. We were right 3 years ago, and now the whole world knows it. There was a memo that came out last November. Didn't you get yours? :>
Right wing conservatives are the American Taliban. They're nothing more than a hate group that even Jesus would condemn

The world is not as black and white as you've claimed it to be. There are people who are quite capable of operating in the gray area, i.e. they can be both a Democrat and hold religious ideals.

Religion and government should never mix. Bad people have been hijacking otherwise peace-full religions to justify their own hate-full actions for thousands of years.
How many rulers have claimed to be Gods? How many men have acted as if they were arc-angels? How many peasants have been tricked into killing there own kin? We as human beings are not ready for the power of religion.

They visit them while campaigning, it is allowed. Nobody is stopping Republicans when they visit churches, it becomes a problem when it becomes an "establishment of religion", forbidden by the First Amendment.
