Does it matter that he has a hot new bod? Should fans decide the roles that actors take? Will you let your child continue seeing the Harry Potter movies?

Being a mom, and loving Harry Potter books and films, I can whole heartedly say that my 12 yr old knows the difference between reality and make believe. He knows that Daniel Radcliffe is an actor. If I don't show him the shirtless photo of DR, then he'll never know about it. That young man does have to consider what he'll do when Harry Potter films are completed or he's just too old be play Harry.
I have no more issue with Daniel Radcliffe playing an adult on stage than Dakota Fanning playing a rape victim in her new film...IT'S ACTING and that's their job.

Not at all. The man is an actor and is going to do other things besides Harry Potter. I also think that his buff look will help the HP movies because as the series goes on "Harry" is doing more physical stuff.

What difference could it possibly make for Daniel Radcliffe to take this role in a play? Children are not going to be seeing him in this adult role! He is an actor and has a career to think about. He's not going to be disrobing (as far as I know) in the Harry Potter films. People....get over yourselves!!

You people are taking this way too far! He's a bloody adult now! He can do whatever he wants to do and I think he should reach out to more than just"Harry Potter" I'm still seeing the 5th film I don't care if you do but give the kid a break!

You mean the ON-STAGE NUDE Daniel Radcliffe?. I have seen a FEW photos and I have to admit, the guy has nerve! With that pale white skin. And having Ron and Hermini in the audience waving at you... No, could not do it...
I do not think any parent would be concerned enough to NOT take their kids to further Harry Potter movies. They are just too good to miss.

The guy's an actor - he's not a 12-year-old kid anymore. It's not that strange that he would take something SO far from the role that made him famous, particularly if he's hoping to have a career post-Harry Potter.

i figure Harry Potter, and the guy who plays him are two completely different things altogether. Sure let the kids watch the movie. I don't know about the new play tho... might wangt to keep the kids at home for that one.

God, I hope so! The kids who play the characters are becoming adults and it is their right to play adult roles. And damn, does that Radcliffe look buff!
