In that show “Beauty & the Geek” is it just me or are the beauties totally re-confirming every air-head stereotype in the book?

they pick dumb people on purpose. so the "geek" can try to get the "beauty" to be smarter and the "beauty" is supposed to help the "geek" out with dating and being social and stuff.

I absolutly agree with you. I dont see how they can get by in life being that... ditsy. However the show does pick the dumbest ones out there just to make the show interesting. And they do help some of the geeks be not so... lame.

i dunno, they do cross out some pretty good points about confidence to the geeks, they aren't the only ones, you know?
