Why is it every time I see some liberal hippie with an impeach bush or no war for oil bumper sticker it is either
1. A man, with long hair, round glasses and facial hair; or
2. A woman with short hair, round glasses and facial hair.

Further, why is it you never see anyone at an anti-war protest in a suit and tie?

Threre's a measure of truth in what you say.

Probably because they're people who buck the trend -- and when you see a woman letting her moustache and beard grow, you know she's really bucking the trend. Most normal women who have facial hair are desperate to conceal the fact.

No doubt if the fashion were for women to let their facial hair, such as it might be, grow, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Liberal women would be shaving twice a day if necessary just to be different.

You must not be looking hard enough. But I agree, it's fun to stereotype.

How about this...Why is it every time I see some conservative with a "W04" or "support the troops" bumper sticker it's on the giant H2 of some duchey fraternidude as he drives alone to pick up his triple cheeseburger from the fast food joint next door because its too cold to wear his basketball shorts outside and he just should NOT have to put on pants and a jacket when he wants to pick up his dinner.

That was fun. Stereotypes, not true...but fun to write.

I am a liberal woman with long hair no glasses and no facial hair, and who in their right minds would want to wear a suit and tie outside of work?

People who wear suits and ties go to "conventions" not "rallies." But that is a clever idea, hold a anti-war convention in every major city in America. Why travel all the way to DC. Great idea!

OMG, I have to tell my 76 year old mother in law that one. I'm sure she will have a good laugh on that one since she has one on her car. And, so do all the people that went to the protest that she knows from church. BTW, I own my own business and go to a Christian church and I have one on my car too. I've never been a hippie in my life.

Does it really matter what someone wears to a protest? You are going to want to be comfortable during the protest. and I am not sure what protests you have seen, but the ones I have seen, over the majority of the protesters do not fit your discription there.. you will not see a soldier for one fit that desciption.. but like I said what does what someone wears during a protest matter??? is it just something for you to complain about or is this really something that matters to you??

No? Maybe you aren't old enough to remember all those men in suits and ties during the Vietnam conflict. They were in their dress uniforms protesting in the streets of Washington. I think they were called Vietnam vets. See history.

I wear a suit and tie everyday (very nicely if I say so myself). I hate Bush. So now what?
