The New Deal would have no consequences because the Constitution is the more powerful of the two. I believe though the consequences on the New Deal were the hastened end of a number of programs because they were considered unconstitutional.

You mean the new deal where "any person" can be detained for suspicion of aiding and abetting for an undetermined amount of time, in which if there is no arrest or conviction there is no appeal? The consequence is that American citizens are not as free as "they" tell us we are.

It stretched its rules and sometimes violated them. It also opened the dor for Socialist government policies in America.
