Your first mistake is coming to NJ. The second mistake is coming here with four of your aunts. However, if you insist on attending the party I don't think it matters what you wear as long as it isn't a white dress with red polka dots. That's what Aunt Martha is wearing and you know how angry she gets when someone shows ups wearing the same dress. Remember what happened last year? That lady is still in the hospital.
If it's a red & white striped dress you may be mistaken as a Candy Striper Nurse by Uncle Joe (he's a little low on brain cells you know).
Now if it's bright red, very short and has a plunging neck line that's trimmed in white you will be the hit of the party especailly if you're wearing white boots and a white bow. Cause that's my favorite.

no one pays attention to that rule anymore. you could wear the white but i would wear red shoes cause it matches better.
