Even if I do, you can be sure somebody from the US will attempt to correct UK English, or pick on your grammar, rather than attempt to answer your question.
And in answer - hardly ever, as my spelling is reasonable enough. If I think there is something dodgy, I will check, but in an UK dictionary.
While I do find sloppy spelling and grammar slightly annoying, as long as it is comprehensible, I'd rather just answer the question than yell at someone. If I don't understand the question at all due to really dire spelling, etc, I would just skip it.

Even though I am an excellent speller, I occasionally use it just to make sure. It keeps me at the excellent level at which I am.

Every time. It's surprising to me how many people don't even bother and you have to decipher their question or answer.
