It's an alright gpu, it will play the games but not on high settings, which with a lot of games coming out not to many low to mid range pc and laptops can handle games on high, and nvidia are not that good of graphics cards, there are just flooded the market being attached to games and with computers. ATI is just as good with more affordable prices

I would definitely pick the most memory for intensive gaming ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with up to 512MB.

its a decent card that can play some highly graphics aggressive games on medium-high settings, but may i suggest you go Nvidia as they are #1 in graphics/video cards these days.
