I did this before with my wife but the darn thing filtered out shows I thought were okay for her and then let things like late night shows slip on through. I basically got fed up with it and disabled it and told her basic guidelines of what I didn't approve of which she followed for a while but then I guess she got tempted and I found out she was watching HBO when they had this free trial come through...I just ended up canceling cable. Sound familiar?

In MOST houses, if anyone is using parental controls NOT on kids, it is the wives using parental controls so their HUSBANDS DON'T SPEND $600 A MONTH ON PORN.
Then lay his dead *ss around and whine because the cable was turned off and he'd rather whine about it than get a real job.
That is the real reason Internet filters were invented too. It was not for the kids.

Is your wife grown? Are you her warden, father or husband b/c that vchip is intended for children so that they don't watch bad programming. You sound really controlling and I would laugh if she left you for a man that let her watch anything in TV. Come on man, cut the umbilical before things get rough in your household.
