I received a w-2 and I do not know the company. How will I find out who they are?

I tried looking up the address but did not find them. I do not remember working for them.

that is a very unusual problem...

have you tried something like yahoo maps to see where the company is located. you might swing by their office. it might jog your memory, and if not you could just pop in and ask to speak with the management because they may have sent you a w-2 by mistake.
