Sounds like you're doing well... You might want to retake the SAT in the fall, get the scores as close to perfection as possible... Make sure you put together some great essays, look for an internship/volunteer opportunity this summer (related to possible career interests)... Perhaps look for a 1-2 week "camp" as well (related to an academic or artistic area)... Look for any national competitions... Try starting your own business... Basically, take initiative and stand out...

There is no definite way to get into any school. Most Ivy league schools are looking at the whole person concept with a high emphasis on academics. Schools don't just want someone who got straight A's but is a social retard (for lack of a better term). Nor do they want someone who got mediocre grads but is on every picture of the school year book.
You have to remember you are selling yourself against the thousands of other applicants trying to get it. They want you to have a high GPA, a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, they want you to be well-rounded and well-spoken. They want you to be a leader or at least have great potential to become a powerful future leader. They want to know that you will work hard, graduate, and contribute.

There's a lot you can't do about applying to college. You can only do so much about your grades/GPA thus far, and you can't do much about your standardized test scores. The only way you get to see who you are in in your college essay. However, all of those things are used to weigh you. But remember when it's all said and done there's no magic formula. It's a person or group of people who think you should or should not attend the school. It doesn't mean you're not good enough or smart enough or they don't like you. It just means there's only so many spots and they have to pick some and cut others.
Have a second choice and a third choice. College ultimately is what you make it. There are benefits to all college situations. Try to find more than one school that meets your needs and have a back up plan if you don't get in.

It sounds like you have a great personal resume so far.

Omm..... I really don't think a 3.8 will get you into princeton.........I guess you just work your butt off for the next year, write one hell of an admissions essay, and pray everynight you get in. That place is expensive, and gives the same education as most other universitys, so that if all else fails, you'll pay less :). GOOD LUCK

Hope that one of their athletic programs REALLY wants you on the team, and/or have a father who went to Princeton and has some bucks.
