Restrictions

The transferring character must be level 10 or higher.

Customers with expansion accounts CANNOT transfer characters to a non-expansion account.

Customers with non-expansion accounts CAN transfer characters to an expansion account, but once a character is moved to an expansion account it can NOT ever be moved back to a non-expansion account

The transferring character must not have undergone a paid character transfer within three months.

Realms launched within the last 180 days are not eligible transfer destinations. Blizzard reserves the right to prohibit the transfer to any specific realm(s) at any time.

Character transfers will be restricted to characters with specific gold limits:
Level 10-30: 300 gold limit
Level 31-50: 1000 gold limit
Level 51+: 5000 gold limit

Characters may not transfer to PvP realms where a character of the opposite faction already exists.

If an account has 10 characters on a realm, the account cannot transfer more characters to that realm.

The last name on both accounts must match in order to complete an account to account transfer.

Regarding transfer requests from one account to another account, note that you may only request character transfers from one account where you are the subscriber to another account where you are the subscriber. Any attempt to transfer a character from an account where you are not the subscriber could be considered a violation of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use and could lead to Blizzard taking disciplinary action against your account, including, but not limited to warnings, temporary account suspension, or permanent account suspension, as determined by Blizzard.
