I'd sooner choose a favorite child.

But if I had to choose one, it would be either Robin Hood (Michael Kamen), ET (by John Williams), Troy (James Horner), Gladiator (Hans Zimmer), or Untouchables (Ennio Morricone).

Never mind. I can't choose.

Hmm...The best one I've probably heard is the soundtrack for Garden State and Grey's Anatomy. All the songs actually do have lyrics. The soundtarck has broadened my horizons in terms of music because I've learned to listen to more music outside of the mainstream and to support up and coming artists and musicians who don't go for the pop/hiphop/rap kind of sound. If you're talking about the musical scores from movies, then my favourite would have to be The Chronicles Of Narnia by Harry Gregson Williams. The music is unbelievable and is very reminiscent of the scenes where they were played. Hope that answered your question.
