no person tells me how lots i will spend, for a haircut or highlights or something. i'm an grownup. I make my own money and that i pay my own costs. not in this existence, or the different, will a husband or boyfriend think of for a minute he's going to tell me what i will do with my money.

My guy doesn't tell me how much I'm to spend on anything. I'm an adult woman, not a child, and he's not my keeper. No "letting" is happening in this relationship.
I normally spend about $75 on my cut. My colour varies- if I get a solid colour only, it's about $130, if I get colour and highlights or colour blocking, it's usually more like $180. I also get a deep conditioning treatment with my colour that adds on another $30. With tips, a typical salon visit for me (hair cut and colour) usually costs between about $260 and $320.

Wow, you are opening yourself up for some serious answers on here.
Since a large majority of the ladies in the world today earn their own money, they can choose how much money they can spend on anything they like.
If my husband was paying for a salon visit for me, as a gift to me, he would pay whatever I choose to spend, be it $40.00 or ten times that.
You had better learn that you should not be "letting" your lady spend money on herself, trying to control a relationship in a monetary manner rarely works.

well I pay $40 for a perm and $12 for haircut but no one allows me to spend money if you earn money you should be ablr to spend it, if you don't work then you should only need basic haircuts anyway

LOL I think $100 total... I get it dyed or highlighted or bleached everytime I go and the cut is usually discounted if you get another service (like coloring).

I did not spend any money on my last haircut.
But I did have to kick my boy friends @ss because he did want to help me shave for my new mohawk.

I would have to say the most I've ever paid and got away with was $60 and that included wash, cut, color with highlights and style. He'd kill me If I paid more than that.

I pay for my own hair, although, he would give me anything to make me look nice. I make him go to my hairdresser, because she does such a great job on men's cuts. ~~~~
