His official stage name is 2Pac, but his alias is Makaveli, which was inspired by Niccolò Machiavelli. He used "Makaveli" the same way an author would use his/her pen name. He began using Makaveli after he got out of jail. On his album covers it has always been "2Pac," except for on "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory" and some posthumous albums.

the origianal is tupac, but then they made their nickname 2pac for some reason
