does birth control lower your sex drive? I have a very high sex drive and I wanna get rid of it.

It can vary for woman to woman and if they have any hormonal problems.
With me, it gave me a sex drive because, due to a hormonal imbalance, I did not have one before I went on the pill.
Most women have their sexual peak in their 30's. If you're in your 30's that is why your sex drive is very high. It will go down when you hit 40. It did with me.

I'm sure some do, but I was on ortho tricyclen lo for 5 years, and it never lowered my sex drive. But it could be different on every women.

It can, but not necessarily.
You do know, don't you, that there is nothing wrong and everything right with masturbation? That and I'm sure your partner has no problem with your having that high sex drive.
