there is this girl in my class that tells everyone that me and her are best friends, at first it didn't really bother me but now it does,she is the most annoying person in the world, she does so many annoying things that make me mad and when i try to avoid them she does it more..........anyways she treats me like i'm her back up friend and she is very dictatorial and mean..............anyways one time a told her that i don't want to be her friend and then the next she pretened that nothing happened. the thing about it would be that this our last year in elementary skool and we might be going to different schools, but she is going to the same school that i am going to.........anyways how do i tell her to back off and leave me alone?

Tell her that you are sorry if this sounds mean but she is not your best friend and really not even your friend at all and that you are no ones back up friend and when ever she tries to act like that again tell her to back off and that your through because enough is enough and you refuse to take anymore of her bull because she is simply no the boss of you trust me this works i was also in the same situation.

She seems like one of those girls who always has to be in control. And she seems like she has issues, this girl is trouble. Maybe you can just avoid her, the easiest way to do that is to make a new friend or hang out with a group of friends who can back you up. Middle school is tough, and girls like that make things a lot tougher. Don't let her punk you, put her in her place and say "Its kinda funny how you call me your best friend yet you don't act like it". Be firm, you will look back on this situation when you are older and you will be glad that you did...Good luck!

I had the same problem. This girl thought I was her best friend because we had the same b-day! I was like girl, what is your problem? She was crazy. I told her I wasn't trying to hurt her feelings, but I couldn't be friends with her because I had a BF already

You should maybe... well you can try ignoring her. You can tell her that you don't like and that she should leave you alone. I think ignoring her would be the best though.
