Like someone else mentioned, how about a word describing human feelings/emotions/concepts? Describe the word, tell what that definition means to you, tell how you/your family/friends fit the definition and then identify famous people/moments/events in history that actively and positively portray the definition...aside: even if the word you choose is a "terrible" word, say prejudice, you should use examples that "actively and positively portray the definition", i.e. Hitler.
Good luck with your paper.

You could probably right a lot about the word "antidisestablishmentarianism." It is a very long word. I'm in 8th grade, and our teacher randomly asked us to try and spell it, and I got it right. I'm not exactly how deep you can explain about it, but you can explain about its orgin, and how you can break up each word to define the definition, and you can probably find A LOT more on the word :) I'm glad I could help.
