I lived overseas and had no problem continuing to pay my bills. Set up your bills so you can do it online. Unless of course you will be living in a 3rd world country with no internet access..

Yep...the internet. i lived in Mexico for work for 3 years, and I continued paying and using my credit card with an internet conection...i used the card to buy everything, and i had it set up to automatically take 250 out of my bank account every month, but i could go into the credit card account anytime, and pay as much as I wanted.

Change address of billing to the address where you're going to. And even if you don't know where you're going to stay you can just go there and telephone them to change the address once you know where you'll be staying.

in case you've been paid for those six days via a CA corporation, the income is taxable in CA. (It seem that CA tax board received 1099 issued to you). it should be available that your income in CA grow to be decrease than the filing requirement of CA. do not overlook with regard to the letter.
