Deployed overseas for 2 years. Returned to find Husband lazing around house, watching sports, refuses to help w/ home improvements. Our son (16) was left to do whatever he wanted. Now I have to re-engage son - now has behavioral issues (angry) and husband thinks I need therapy - wants to leave. Clincher...we own 2 properties valued at 1 = $600K the other at $900K. Husband told me that he has asked the tenant at prop 1= (600K) to leave so he can sell the house and buy out of state. Wants me to sign over property so he can leave, but he does not want to give me a divorce - this would mess up his taxes. does not want me to remove his name from prop2 (900K) -he wants half of whatever I sell the prop for, when I decide to sell it. Should I just sign papers for property 1 (600K) to get him out, or stand fast until both properties are sold. Atty told me that it MAY take up to TWO years for a divorce. I won't make it. Need a hand. I will be deploying again in 6-8 month

Let the lawyer handle it, lock, stock, and barrel. You go ahead and do what you have to do, and let the lawyer deal with him. That's what you pay him the big bucks for! Tell your hubby....."My attorney will be in touch!" Then go on about your life with your son!! Good Luck!!

Is he the boss when it comes to what you can and can not do???

You need to file for divorce and get at least HALF of everything. All the property needs to be sold and the profits equal split between the two of you. It can be written in the divorce papers that way and if you two agree on things, you can be legally divorce in 6 months, even if the property has not sold.

You need to really work this with a divorce attorney who is clued in on tax consequences. Ask the attorney about publishing a notice that you're not responsible for your husband's debts, in case he does an "assault by credit card" on you while you're deployed.

Make sure he does NOT have a power of attorney while you're deployed. Find another trusted relative. I suggest that it NOT be a family friend (you never know who he might be keeping company with during your deployments).

Make sure that you are NOT doing the joint account thing. Set up an allotment.

First of all I want to say THANK YOU for fighting for our country. Now go find yourself a good attorny that will look out for you and your son while your gone. Did you both pay on the property or was it inhertied, states have differnt laws on propety seetlements in divorce cases. Just make sure he can't sell anything while your gone, and it might be a good ideal to have a power of attorny to proctec your son and property while you gone. Good luck and may God be with you. and again THANK YOU11111

Don't sign over anything because the minute you do he will want what you have left. Get yourself an attorney.Get custody of your son and make him pay child support, he sounds like a real loser you have to protect yourself and file for a divorce who cares if it messes up his taxes you will be better without him.

i'm incredibly sorry to pay attention you went with the aid of all that at your age already. yet you have gotta p.c.. authentic back up and get in the game back, in the past you finally end up all of sudden 30 years previous, 35 years previous, and so on. besides the reality that, don't be all desperate on the rebound - it incredibly is worse. the defense force isn't undemanding on relationships. yet you be conscious of the guidelines: What occurs TDY keeps to be TDY, and not "ask your self" your substantial different by coming living house early. (I found out the 2nd first-hand) yet besides, to strictly answer your question, i might say some words of advice: a million) do not freakin be dumb defense force guy on Myspace #6235245165 and placed a shirtless image up! we've all seen it in the past! in case you do not decide to get taken care of like a chew of meat, do not sell it like one. 2) i might say submit a percentof you dressed up (have been given gown blues or something? possibly a tuxedo percentfrom a chum's wedding ceremony?) , yet another considered one of you exterior doing something that shows you're energetic, and considered one of you putting out inclusive of your persons. Why? a) we could be conscious of which you freshen up properly. b) we could be conscious of which you do not in basic terms take a seat in the barracks enjoying XBox all day c) we could be conscious of which you at the instant are not the lone gunman sitting in a tower waiting for a PT formation to run by. Like "Ooh, he has acquaintances, he's socially adjusted in spite of each and all of the 'KILL KILL KILL' stuff in undemanding education" 3) think of. look ahead to warning indications. defense force adult adult males such as you who actually have a heart and a strategies incredibly get the uncooked end now and back. there are various women persons who locate the assumption of drowsing with a soldier/marine thrilling (sorry sailors and 'airmen', no offense and you're in all threat at an advantage!). it incredibly is like an experience. yet drowsing with a soldier is one element, residing in base housing and paying for on the commissary for toddler formula on sale whilst desperately attempting to make acquaintances with the different defense force different halves, that may not extremely as relaxing of an experience. So if some 18-3 hundred and sixty 5 days-previous (or considered one of my fellow 31-3 hundred and sixty 5 days-olds for that count) is coming near to you fairly reliable and being incredibly flirty, merely be conscious of that it fairly isn't relationship textile. You sound like a sturdy guy. I prefer you the ultimate!
