I think I might be gay.. but I dont want to be!! What do I do?

Your still young. It could be just a phase, but if it isn't than you are what you are. There are much worse things you could be. As a matter of fact as a mother of 4 ,if one of my children were to be gay I honestly would be fine. As long as they are happy that is all I want. If it is a matter of religion than as a Christan I honestly feel that god will still embrace you. To make this short honey.. you are who you are be proud of all that encompasses. Your sexuality is just a small part of a persons identity, Be what ever feels right to you and let the rest of the world worry about themselves. Good luck.

First, you need to learn to accept who you are. If you are young you might just be confused, but if you know you are gay, you are gay. You can't NOT be gay, it's not possible. Those religious groups that use shock therapy to punish you to not be a homosexual are wrong! Be yourself, for you, not for anyone else! When you learn that lesson you'll realize who you truly are and be okay with it, even if you aren't gay. As a gay man myself, it's difficult being different. However it has it's advantages... The worst are haters who tell you it's a choice or that treat you like less than a person. Don't give into the hate that some of these people are saying to you even here. Be proud of who you are and make a difference in someones life. That's more important than you sexual orientation. Good luck and if you need someone to talk too, seek a counselor or your parents.

really think about it you might not be if you don't want to be. I don't know if you have a girlfriend or any thing else but if you don't wan't to be gay get a girl friend that cares about you and likes you just the way you are( that is if you don't already have one) embrace her and do things with her that you think might be fun and maybe a little sexual and see how you feel if you still think you are atracted to men more, I am sure that girl will understand. I mean you don't have to get a girlfriend that is up to you but it just might work. of coarse i don't know you full situation, but if you find that you are gay or bi or strait, live your life to the fullest all you can do is live with who you are and embrace it.
oh and maybe you could get the best answer you are looking for if you elaborate on you question and tell more about your situation. it might help

If you don't want to be, that is your choice. But if you do turn out gay, people should still like you for who you are, not because you are white, black, gay, straight etc...
So if you are gay, you should'nt care what other people think.

alright seriously people who say your born gay are on crack its the media thats turning people gay you are collateral. Also 90 percent of gays in most surveys have been raped so if you have been raped you could be questioning but if not blame the media and i swear its in your instincts to be straight look at a hot girl naked or some nice porn and watch it grow

Listen, Whatever you are or aren't its ok. i dont think you can change it if you are, i mean you can pretend that your not and get a girl and marry her have some kids and spend your life unhappy or you can just bear with it and except it. i think you can just be born that way or if you have people around you that are gay when your grow up, it can influence your life. dont stress about it. i know a LOT of gay guys and they are so much nicer then alot of straight ones. and they actually care about you instead of just checking you out! it's good. but anyways, just wait and see how you go, if you fall for a girl then you do if you fall for a guy thats ok too. but maybe your bi then or you just havent found that one perfect person whatever sexuality you are, someone will always care for you. ok goodluck

if you think you might be then chances are you are just curious. but if you are gay or even bi there is nothing wrong with it and really nothing you can do about it. some of the others that have answered have said just choose not to be but it's not that easy. you can concentrate on girls more but it if you are gay nothing is going to change that.

if you dont want to be gay,then get some girlie magazines and look at them and see if they turn you on.also look at women and not men.try going on a date with a woman and see if they strike your fancy.if they do then your straight.

CJ, WTF! Stop spreading your hate and igorance, iT'S O.K IF YOUR GAY! A lot of people are born gay. Why would you not want to be gay? I see nothign wrong with it, it might be all the garbage you've heard from other people about how being gay is a sin and that you will go to hell w/e. Complete bullshit! You should accept and embrace your homosexuality, because it makes you, who you are, and that can't be changed.
