About one-third of the population is of elementry school each. Port Disney's population has been increasing over the past twenty years and the growth trend is expected to continue. So, at the very bottom, t should be set to 10. If you do this x works by solving log(31200/24567)=10log(1+x)
x=10^[log(31200/24567)/10]-1 so x= 2.4%. Therefore, in the year 2000, based on the value of x just obtained, the population should be about: 24567*(1.024)^30=50043 people; In the year 2010, the population would be about:24567*(1.024)^40=63438; finally, in the year 2020, the population should be about:24567*(1.024)^50=80417.

just multiply the constant rate by the number of years you need and then just get the awnser.
