I think the Lakers are in better shape than last year. Consider this: Last Season This Season Smush Parker at PG Derek Fisher No athletic reserve Trevor Ariza Inexperienced Jordan Farmar 20 min., 9 pts, 2.7asst Ronny Turiaf's ret. from heart surgery 16 min., 6 pts, 3.4 reb Virtually nothing from Sasha, Vlad Improved seasons Besides, they're mindful of how they faded in the 2nd half of last season. One thing is for sure. Bynum won't "hit the wall" the way he did last year. Will they drop somewhat in the standings? Probably, but like the haters predict.

Kobe is doing a great job but he is concentrating more on assists so far. feeding the ball to Odom and Luke. So, I think he will drop around 30 - 35 points on the Celtics because he didn't get to play against the Knicks.
