I rather like the Red Wolf, but I have a question for any who read this (lol)
All animals are imporant to the ecosystem, and it's nice that people care about them as far as to enter essay contests for them. Endangered animals like the panda and wolf and so on get a lot of attention. But what about the less cute animals, like the tree snails and fish and so on? No one cares about them, and they die out, further upsetting the balance...

Hi Sofia...how about the cheetah? They are on the CITES endangered list of species. Every cheetah is genetically related to one another throughout the world and because of the lack of genetic diversity this puts their species even at greater risk for increasing their population. Just in Namibia Africa alone there are nearly less than 2500 cheetahs in existence.

all of Nature is in danger ,
the lemur is very cute
we are witness to a mass extinction of animals and plants for the first time again since the dinosaurs.
cuteness is not the main reason to preserve eco systems
and all animals are components of these.

What about those cute lil' white seals? The ones w/ the big eyes? I think they are endangered. People use their clubs to beat them in the head. Pretty cruel. Especially if you saw how adorable they are. Try that one.
