anyone use spywarebot.com's free download to rid their computer of spyware/adware? was it any good?

Removes Adware and Spyware
Proves it works
I use it and it is easy to use and simple to remove unwanted items

Spybot is free and works great, but has Advertisment. This could lead to more Spyware. I would recommend Lavasoft Ad-Aware instead.

I haven't, but I can recommend Spybot Search & distroy and Lavasoft Ad-aware. Both are free. Run both and you'll be very well protected. You can download both at www.download.com
